Senior .Net Architect Specialist
Job Description
C3 Consulting is currently seeking talented Microsoft .NET professionals to join our growing team. Ideal candidates will have 6+ years of software development and at least 3 years of experience with architecting, leading, and developing inter/intra net applications and/or complex integration of existing applications for customer projects using Microsoft .NET platform technologies.
Skills Desired for Lead Architect Role:
- Senior level architecture, design and development experience
- .NET, OO Analysis & Design, UML and design patterns
- XML, Web Services, HTML a strong plus
- .NET certification a strong plus
- Understanding of Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server
Successful candidates will have hands-on experience architecting and implementing large-scale distributed enterprise applications using the .NET platform and will be able to use that experience to anticipate and resolve typical issues with concurrency, performance, asynchronous communications and security. They will understand and explain both the low-level mechanisms of the existing .NET platform and the roadmap for the future of .NET, including Whidbey. Requirements in the architect and design lead role will include a mastery of the UML and a range of design patterns and an understanding of iterative development processes. Candidates will also provide expert hands-on implementation work. Superior communications skills and the ability to quickly understand the business domain are essential. Candidates must be equally comfortable and effective in a high-level architect/design lead role and in a hands-on implementation role.
